Anya’s Mission was created to honor the life of Anya, an eight-year-old girl whose gentle kindness, joyful spirit, and deep love for animals touched everyone she met.
Our inaugural gala marks the beginning of this mission. By becoming a sponsor, you are not simply supporting an event — you are helping launch a legacy rooted in compassion, care, and action.
About Anya
Anya was eight years old when she lost her battle with cancer, but she is remembered most for how she lived — with gregarious laughter, open-hearted kindness, and a remarkable tenderness toward people and animals alike.
She offered free huggies without hesitation and had an extraordinary way of making others feel safe, seen, and loved. Anya dreamed of becoming a veterinarian and believed deeply that all animals deserved care, protection, and gentleness.
Anya’s Mission carries her love forward — protecting animals and supporting the future caregivers who will continue the work she dreamed of.
